Sunny, with light winds that turned onshore in the afternoon and a high of 19 degrees C. Little moved over the sea, although 320 Teal flew south along with eight Wigeon; an additional 41 Teal rested on the shore at Cattlemere, while 60 were off South Landing. Other notable records from the outer head included a Great White Egret that flew south over the Gorse Field at 0825hrs, three Jays, a Redstart, a Spotted Flycatcher, one Pied Flycatcher, four Siskin, a Brambling and the confiding Lapland Bunting.
A total of five Yellow-browed Warblers were present across the headland: a single at Thornwick Pools, three birds at RSPB Bempton Cliffs and another at Buckton. Other sightings at Bempton included one Jay, ten Chiffchaffs, a Garden Warbler, a Goldcrest, one Pied Flycatcher, two Wheatear and a Brambling.
