A moderate north-north-westerly wind lasted throughout a day that started relatively bright, but ended with thick cloud. During the seawatch, four Common Scoter, three Great Northern Divers, one Blue Fulmar, five Manx Shearwaters, eight Sandwich Terns, an Arctic Tern and 666 Puffins flew north.

Two Tufted Duck frequented Thornwick and the Nuthatch, a Goldcrest and one Garden Warbler were at South Dykes.

West of the Dykes, Buckton attracted a Fieldfare.
