Light northerly winds and overcast conditions prevailed, with misty conditions by the evening. Seawatching records included 50 Common Scoter (30 north, 20 south), 141 Manx Shearwaters, two Grey Herons, 30 Sandwich Terns and two Common Terns flying south, whilst a single Arctic Tern went north.
Two Little Ringed Plovers frequented Thornwick Pools, with a Grey Wagtail and a Mistle Thrush at the Fog Station.
