A moderate/strong south-westerly wind and overcast conditions also resulted in a much milder day, with temperatures reaching 11 degrees C by evening. Away from a very quiet swatch, sightings included a Pink-footed Goose, six White-fronted Geese, two dark-bellied Brent Geese, 25 Wigeon and a Water Rail.
