It was generally an overcast day, with periods of rain and moderate westerly winds. Sightings from South Landing included one Long-tailed Duck, a 3rd calendar-year Mediterranean Gull flying south and three Scandinavian Rock Pipits. Passerine migrants included 17 Fieldfare, two Redwing, eight Goldcrests and three Chiffchaffs.
West of the Dykes, Bempton Cliffs RSPB hosted Short-eared Owl, Chiffchaff and 15 Corn Buntings.
