The sustained pattern of weather continued with another day of sunny intervals and moderate westerly winds. A pair of Grey Partridge accompanied three young on the Golf Course; a notable breeding record for a species that appears to be declining locally. Nearby, an adult Yellow-legged Gull loafed with other large gulls on the beach south of the Fog Station and two juvenile Stonechats were located below the Lighthouse.

West of the Dykes, a Little Egret was present at Sewerby.
