A warm day with scattered clouds and a maximum temperature of 20°C in a moderate westerly breeze.
A Mediterranean Gull, a Yellow-legged Gull,three Arctic Skuas and a Bonxie passed the Fog Station where ducks were represented by two Shelduck, 77 Teal and 26 Common Scoter. A Ruff and 14 Bar-tailed Godwits flew south in the evening.
Other waders included a Grey Plover at Cattlemere Rocks, a Greenshank at Thornwick Pools. A Hobby continued to be seen on the Outer Head. A Spotted Flycatcher at the Fog Station and a Pied Flycatcher along the Motorway Hedge were both newly arrived.
Sightings at Bempton Cliffs RSPB included an impressive 432 House Martins in off, four Snipe and a good variety of common migrant warblers.
