Overcast once more, with relatively light north-east winds and a high of four degrees C. The eighteen White-fronted Geese and eight Egyptian Geese remained along North Marine Road. Additional wildfowl included a drake Shoveler, 69 Wigeon, 13 Tufted Ducks and a Velvet Scoter, the latter off South Landing. A Water Rail, two Jack Snipe and a Woodcock were also in residence. Eleven Fieldfare and a Grey Wagtail were at South Landing, with 23 Snow Buntings on nearby Beacon Hill. Additionally, a single Short-eared Owl lingered at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
