A relatively cool day, with temperatures reaching five degrees C by late morning, sunny intervals and a moderate/strong south-westerly wind. Two Velvet Scoters flying south represented the highlight of the morning’s seawatch. Two Short-eared Owls continued to show well at RSPB Bempton Cliffs, whilst 20 Snow Buntings remained on the cliff top south of the Lighthouse.
