Light southerly winds were a feature once again, with generally overcast skies and occasional thundery showers. During the seawatch, a Sooty Shearwater flew north, 104 Teal, a Tufted Duck, a Gadwall and an Arctic Skua moved south, whilst 151 Sandwich Terns headed in the opposite direction.
A small arrival of passerines took place on the outer head for the first time post-breeding, with four Whitethroats, two Whinchats, four Stonechats, two Wheatear and a Garden Warbler south of the Lighthouse.
