After an overcast start to the day, sunny intervals established mid-afternoon, whilst an increasing south-south-east wind developed. During the seawatch, four Tufted Duck, a Manx Shearwater, 33 Redshank, five Sanderling, 55 Dunlin and an Arctic Skua flew south, with 55 Sandwich Terns heading north.
Thornwick Pools attracted a Little Egret, one Greenshank, a Ringed Plover and 17 Dunlin.
The Alpine Swift reappeared over Bempton Cliffs during the morning, with Little Egret and juvenile Yellow-legged Gull also recorded there.
