The weather mirrored a pattern established over recent days: moderate westerly winds, sunny intervals and heavy showers. During the seawatch, a Shelduck, seven Shoveler, 50 Oystercatchers, seven Whimbrel, 33 Redshank, 17 Knot, 38 Dunlin, nine Common Terns and an Arctic Tern flew south, with six Manx Shearwaters and 140 Sandwich Terns moving in the opposite direction; single Arctic Skua and Bonxie lingered offshore.

Thornwick Pools attracted 22 Dunlin, two Little Ringed Plovers, a Ringed Plover, two Redshank and two Green Sandpipers.

West of the Dykes, a Cuckoo, one Goldcrest, four Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap were present at Buckton.
