25th June 2020

Sunny throughout, with a light/moderate easterly breeze and temperatures reaching 19 degrees C.

Eleven Shelduck flew south past the outer head, together with 93 Common Scoters, four Curlew and 33 Black-headed Gulls, whilst six Sandwich Terns headed north. Twelve Crossbills were present and a Corn Bunting frequented the outer head. However, the day’s most notable sighting related to a Dark Green Fritillary near the Seawatch Observatory.
