A relatively overcast day with brighter intervals, a strong southerly wind and higher temperatures that peaked at nine degrees C. During the seawatch, five Wigeon flew south, a Great Crested Grebe moved north and two Puffins also flew past; the latter relatively unseasonal. Away from the sea, six Whooper Swans were at Oceanview, 37 Curlews were again present on the outer head, as were two Stonechats. Sightings from RSPB Bempton Cliffs included two Short-eared Owls and a Lapland Bunting.
