Thick fog following an overnight frost rendered birding nigh on impossible for much of the day, with an increasingly strong southerly wind and overcast skies predominating once the fog cleared; temperatures eventually reached five degrees C. The only notable records related to the Whooper Swan still present on the outer head and two Siskins visiting a feeder in a village garden.
