The day started with overcast skies, with spells of light rain with brighter intervals later; moderate south-west winds also featured and temperatures peaked at a mild 11 degrees C. During the seawatch, two Pochard, two Red-breasted Mergansers and 26 Red-throated Divers flew south. On the land, a Whooper Swan rested on fields near North Landing and two Waxwings flew from the Golf Course entrance west towards the village. Two Short-eared Owls frequented RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
