Colder than of late, the temperature rising from 4C to 6C before falling again late afternoon.  A fresh northerly brought several showers.

The highlights from the Fog Station included a Dark-bellied Brent Goose, 3 Wigeon, 156 Common Scoter (82S, 74N) and a single Little Auk.  In addition, 30 Snow Buntings flew overhead.

The Snow Bunting flock at Cattlemere held 40 birds (presumably including the 30 above) and a Chiffchaff lingered at South Landing.

At Bempton, 100 Pink-footed Geese were in the fields whilst a Chiffchaff and 2 Stonechat  were at the reserve.
