The weather consisted of sunny skies throughout, moderate south-easterly winds and temperatures that peaked at 18 degrees C. Seawatch highlights included four Pintail, a juvenile Sabine’s Gull and an adult Pomarine Skua flying south; a Sooty Shearwater and a sub-adult Pomarine Skua also flew north. Two Pink-footed Geese and a Merlin frequented North Marsh. Passerine interest included three Goldcrests, 16 Chiffchaffs, two Willow Warblers, a Pied Flycatcher, three Stonechat, two Whinchat, two Redstarts, two Grey Wagtails, a Siskin, 16 Yellowhammer and 15 Reed Buntings.
