A day of sunny intervals, cold south-easterly winds and temperatures that reached three degrees C. During a seawatch from South Landing, a Shelduck flew south and 37 Red-throated Divers moved north. 

Passerine interest included 39 Fieldfares at Oceanview, 26 Redwing and five Lapland Buntings near North Dykes. West of the Dykes, sightings from Bempton Cliffs RSPB included 14 Stock Doves, 70 Tree Sparrows, 30 Yellowhammers and two Corn Buntings.
