A difficult day for birding, with mist/fog throughout and light rain for a high proportion of daylight hours. Thousands of Guillemots and Razorbills were again in residence off the outer head, with hundreds of Gannets also present; all adults.

The Treecreeper showing some features of the nominate race was seen again at South Dykes, where there were above average counts of 35 Blue Tits and 30 Great Tits, as well as eight Long-tailed Tits and a solitary Goldcrest.
