A bright and sunny day, with temperatures only just creeping above zero degrees. The two Russian White-fronted Geese remained, as did a single Nuthatch on the feeders at South Dykes. A male Merlin flew over Water Lane during the early morning and a Water Rail was on Bempton Lane. Notable counts from the outer headland included 28 Teal and 34 Stock Dove .
On the sea watch, 483 Fulmar flew north and included a single blue morph bird. 17 Red-throated Diver and 466 Gannet were also logged.
